Mars: Our New Outer Space Frontier

Since the beginning of time, humans have had an insatiable desire to explore. Curiosity is one of our greatest strength and it is seemingly what's responsible for the immense and exponential technological advancement we see today. As we become more populated, we seek more resources and places to live in. The space program comes into play here. We've done all this on our little planet. Now imagine the things we could achieve with two planets at our disposal. The planned trip to Mars will most likely make that dream a reality. But wait, is it only Mars that exists in our solar system? Have you ever wondered why we chose Mars, our neighborhood planet, to live in? If so, let's find out why? First, on making a list of probable habitable planets and taking other celestial bodies into consideration we can narrow them down to just three: Venus, Mars,  and Titan ( Saturn's own moon). Let's break it down and see why Mars is the most logical. Venus: Alm...

The Holy Grail of Physics

From the incredibly tiny to the amazingly big, there has been quite a number of theories made to explain the behavior of matter in our world.  During Isaac Newton's time, he released a book titles "Principia" which accurately describes the motion of matter. It is usually referred to as Classical physics. This was used for decades to explain the behavior of matter on most scales and it's still implemented till today. Then come 1905, Albert Einstein, in his radical and creative mind discovered a new way to look at physics of motion. You see, Newton's classical physics describes motion with respect to only one frame of reference which remains constant in every situation but this didn't sound so logical to Einstein so he decided to think outside of the box and what he got from doing that was Special relativity. Now unlike classical physics, special relativity takes into consideration the various frames of references with respect to the observer...

Origin of the Universe

The universe we live in is like an artwork, carefully and precisely crafted in place with a touch of an equal proportion of beauty and anger. Thinking about the immense size of the universe is just mind-blowing. We all are so incomparable in size to the universe. But how did it get so big? Origin of the Universe For so long as humans pondered on how the universe was created. Religiously, it is said that a higher and supreme being created this world. However, from a scientific point of view, the universe can be traced back all the way to an event called the Big Bang. Hot, dense, tiny, powerful, etc, just a few attributes of the catastrophic yet necessary event that made this universe. Now the big bang is somewhat of a misconception of the event. The creation of the universe was neither big nor created a bang. Then what was it and why was it then coined with the term Big bang?  The Big bang was simply the point in time when all the matter in the univers...
